HOW TO APPLY

Submit Your Application In-Person

Step 1 :

Read complete information on the visa/permit requirements on the IRCC website and download the appropriate application forms and checklist relevant to the purpose of your visit. Please refer to the “All About Your Visa” page to obtain details on visas/permits.

Review if you need to give your biometrics (fingerprints and photograph) when applying for a visitor visa, study permit or work permit. Find out if you need to give your biometrics.

Step 2 :

Fill out the application form and other relevant documents electronically and print. For best results

  • Print on white, bond-quality, non-glossy paper
  • Use of a laser printer is recommended
Important Note: Please inspect your printed form to confirm that barcodes appear on the last page (page 6 of 6). The barcodes should appear clear and be free of any distortions smudges or fading otherwise it may slowdown the application process.


If you are unable to provide all the supporting documents as mentioned in the official IRCC document checklist, you are required to fill out and sign the waiver form and attach it with your application form.

Failure to provide a completed and signed waiver form may result in additional delays or refusal of your application for a visa, permit or travel document.

Step 3 :

Read the attached privacy policy, fill out the VFS Consent Form.pdf and attach it with your application form.

IMPORTANT: If a completed and signed VFS consent form is not included with the application, we will NOT be able to assist you, and your application will be returned to you.

Step 4 :

Pay visa fees and biometric fee, if required, as per instructions in the IRCC Canadian Visa Office. You should pay it in cash at our offices in soles (local currency) (Subject to GC fee payment); according to your type of visa

Please note that when submitting application via the CVAC, in person or by mail, visa fees must be paid in addition to CVAC (VFS Global) service charge in local currency and cash.

Step 5 :

Visit your local Canada Visa Application Centre (CVAC), make sure you bring your passport, photographs, completed forms and all supporting documents as per checklist and IRCC fee instrument and payment instructions. Applicable service charges will be levied. Please ensure you bring accepted method of payment.

Important Note: If you need to give your biometrics, the CVAC will collect your biometrics at the same time you submit your application. DO NOT submit your application by mail to this CVAC.

Step 6 :

Once you are at CVAC, pay the service charges, hand your complete application and obtain a receipt. This receipt contains a unique tracking number which you will need to track the progress of your application online.

NOTE: All payment at the Visa Application Center must be in local currency and in cash.

Important Note: If you need to provide biometrics, your S/.205.00 ($85 CAD) biometric fee covers the CVAC service charge for application handling.

Mail Your Application

Important Note: If you need to give your biometrics, DO NOT submit your application by mail to this CVAC. You must submit your application in person. The CVAC will collect your biometrics at the same time you submit your application.

Important:
When sending your request to CVAC please do not forget to include a paper with your contact information like e-mail and telephone .

Step 1 :

Step 4 :

To pay the VISA fee:

  1. You should do a Bank deposit at any branch of Bank CONTINENTAL to the account “cuenta de recaudo” on behalf of VFS GLOBAL :
  2. * You can make a single deposit for both. Please attach the original bank receipt to your file.

  3. You can pay the visa fee through the online payment page of IRCC, according to their type of visa according to the instructions on the Canadian Visa Office. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp?
IMPORTANT: If your application is received without the correct payment for visa fees, we will NOT be able to assist you and your application will be returned to you.

 

Step 5 :

Pay required CVAC Service Charge (S/.105.80- Price per Applicant), and any fees for additional CVAC services, as per the Service Charge Schedule provided on the CVAC Website.

Please make a bank deposit for the CVAC service charge, mandatory return courier fee (For return of documents to a DHL agency in province) and GC fee( in case you deposit the Visa fee to our account); ) in any branch of CONTINENTAL to the account “cuenta de recaudo” on behalf of VFS GLOBAL. You can make a single deposit for the full amount of the VISA and VFS fees

For security reasons prepaid airway bills will not be accepted.

Important: If your application is received without the correct payment for CVAC service charges, we will NOT be able to assist you and your application will be returned to you.

Step 6 :

Arrange forms and documents according to the IRCC checklist.

Step 7 :

Decide how you want your documents to be returned to you.

Procedure for document collection or delivery after processing of your application by the Canadian Visa Office:

  1. If you have opted for collection of your documents in person or through an authorized representative, you will receive an email notification advising you to collect your documents from the CVAC.
  2. If you have opted for return of documents through courier, your documents will be send to a DHL agency Courier previously selected in coordination with the visa application center via e-mail through mailapplications.canperu@vfshelpline.com.

Step 8 :

Mail in or courier your completed and signed application forms,checklists, consent form along with your passport, photographs, visa payment receipts (Visa Fee, Service Fee and Courier Charges) in a sealed envelope to :

Important: Make sure to place your email address and contact number so we can send the tracking number of your visa application.

Step 9 :

Track your application by using the tracking tool of your courier service provider to know if your visa application has been delivered to Canada Visa Application Centre or not.

Step 10 :

Wait to receive email notification from visa application centre to know about your application tracking ID ( in case it is complete ) or email notification highlighting deficiencies in application ( in case application is not completed). You should expect to receive tracking email ID within 2 working days from the date the application is received at the Canada Visa application centre.

You can also opt for the SMS service to track your tracking status in real time. If you want to avail SMS service then please deposit 4.80 Soles in addition to the service fee and courier return fee in VFS’s bank account.

Step 11 :

If you don’t receive any tracking email ID or information on your application within 2 working days then please write us to Mailapplications.canPeru@vfshelpline.com While writing – please do ensure you provide the following information

  • Your full Name
  • Contact details
  • Airway bill number/ consignment number
  • Date of dispatch of your application

Note: In case your application is not completed then visa application centre will send you an email with details to let you know about deficiency (s) in your application. Please ensure you provide all the necessary documents to visa application centre within 5 working days from the date an email is sent by visa application centre. Visa application centre will return your application in case you don’t furnish requisite documents in 5 working days and VFS Fees will not be refunded

Submit Your Passport

If you have received notification from the Government of Canada requesting your passport, your passport along with the request letter may be submitted through this Canada Visa Application Centre.

Please note that there will be a Service Charge for the above services. Courier charges, where applicable are separate, from the Service Charge applicable for Passport Transmission Services. The details can be obtained here.

The Passport Transmission Services offered by the CVACs will enable you to;

  1. Get your passport delivered to the CVO in a timely and safe manner.
  2. Track the status of your passport by using the Tracking tool on the CVAC website.

How to submit your passport:

In-Person Passport Transmission Process

Step 1 :

Read the attached privacy policy, fill out the VFS Consent Form.pdf and attach it with your application/passport.Important: If a completed and signed VFS consent form is not included with the application, VFS will NOT be able to assist you and your application will be returned to you.

Note: If the Canadian Embassy request additional documentation on the same file, you may submit this documentation at no additional cost, mentioning your ID number.

Step 2 :

Visit your local Canada Visa Application Centre (CVAC),with your passport(s), make sure you include:

  • The passport request letter you received from IRCC
  • Any applicable visa application centre (VAC) fees, such as passport transmission fees, courier fees etc.
  • Your contact information, including your email, phone number and return address
  • The VAC consent form

Please ensure you bring accepted method of payment.

Step 3 :

Once you are at CVAC, pay the service charges, hand your documents and forms and obtain a receipt. This receipt contains a unique tracking number which you will need to track the progress of your application online.

Note: All payment at the Visa Application Center must be in local currency and in cash.

Mail-in Passport Transmission Process

Step 1 :

Read the attached privacy policy, fill out the VFS Consent Form.pdf and attach it with your passport or documents.

Important: If a completed and signed VFS consent form is not included with your passport or documents, VFS will NOT be able to assist you, and your application/passport will be returned to you

Please note: You must include the following information on the consent form:

  • Mobile telephone number
  • E-mail address
  • Home/office telephone number
  • Return address

Step 2 :

Pay required CVAC Service Charge (S/.84.70 – Per person), and any fees for additional CVAC services, as per the Service Charge Schedule provided on the CVAC Website.

Please make a bank deposit for the Secure transmission of passport fee and, in any branch of CONTINENTAL to the account “cuenta de recaudo” on behalf of VFS GLOBAL. You can make a single deposit for the full amount .

Important: If your application is received without the correct payment for CVAC service charges, VFS will NOT be able to assist you and your application will be returned to you.

Step 3 :

Decide how you want your documents to be returned to you.

To retrieve your passport, you have the choice of;

  1. Picking up the passport in person or through an authorized representative, at the CVAC, in this case, you will receive an email notification advising you can collect your documents from the CVAC. If a representative picks up your passport, a letter of authorization has to be presented, besides DNI photocopy (both : applicant and representative).

    or;

  2. Requesting return of passport by courier. In this case, the CVAC will send your passport back trough a DHL agency previously selected in coordination with the visa application center via e-mail through mailapplications.canperu@vfshelpline.com

    Please make a bank deposit for the mandatory return courier fee (For return of documents to a DHL agency in province S/.43.50- Price per Applicant) in any branch of CONTINENTAL to the account “cuenta de recaudo” on behalf of VFS GLOBAL. You can make a single deposit for the full amount .

Important: Please ensure correct payment for CVAC courier service charges has been deposited.

Step 4 :

Mail in or courier your passport(s) in a sealed envelope to :

Make sure you include:

  • The passport request letter you received from IRCC
  • Any applicable visa application centre (VAC) fees, such as passport transmission fees, courier fees etc.
