VFS Global is pleased to announce the opening of the Canada Visa Application Centre (CVAC) operated by VFS Services Phils. Pvt. Inc. in the Philippines on July 3, 2013

CVAC is the exclusive service provider for the Government of Canada, authorised to accept applications in all temporary resident categories (visitor visas, study and work permits) and travel document applications from Canada’s permanent residents in Philippines.

CVAC is authorized to provide administrative support services, such as; the collection of visa applications, fees and return of passports in sealed decision envelopes to applicants. CVAC can also assist in scheduling interviews on behalf of the Canada visa office. The decision to issue or refuse a visa is made solely by immigration officers of Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). All applications will be assessed in accordance with Canada’s immigration visa rules and guidelines. CVAC has no role or influence over the outcome of an application and will not offer any evaluative advice.

The use of the CVAC is voluntary. Such service may also be obtained directly from CIC, either at the Canada visa office located in Makati City or by using CIC’s online application (E-Apps) system.
 
 
Step 1 : Read complete information on the visa/permit requirements on the CIC website and download the appropriate application forms and checklist relevant to the purpose of your visit

As of 4 September 2013, you may need to give your biometrics (fingerprints and photograph) when applying for a visitor visa, study permit or work permit. Find out if you need to give your biometrics.
Step 2 : Fill out the application form and other relevant documents. Once completed and validated proceed to print the same. Please ensure that 2D barcode is perfectly print and in good quality paper. Downloaded & handwritten forms will not be accepted.
Step 3 : We strongly advise you to read the attached privacy policy and to complete and sign the VFS Consent Form prior to submitting your application at the Canada Visa Application Centre (CVAC) or sending the application to us by post / courier.
If a completed and signed VFS consent form in not included with the application, we will not be able to assist you, and will be obligated to return the application to you.
Step 4 : Pay visa fees and biometric fee, if required, as per instructions in the CIC fee schedule.
Step 5 : Visit your local Canada Visa Application Centre (CVAC), make sure you bring your passport, photographs, completed forms required visa fee, and all supporting documents as per checklist. Applicable service charges will be levied.

Important Note: If you need to give your biometrics, the CVAC will collect your biometrics at the same time you submit your application. DO NOT submit your application by mail to this CVAC.
Step 6 : When applying at CVAC, pay the service charges, submit complete application and obtain a receipt. This receipt contains a unique tracking number which is important as it is required to track the progress of your application online.

Important Note: If you need to provide biometrics, your $85 CAD biometric fee covers the CVAC service charge for application handling.

Step 5 : Mail in your completed and signed application forms and supporting documents as per checklists, along with your original valid passport, recent photographs, visa fee as instructed in the CIC fee schedule, and VFS service fee charges in Managers cheque/Demand draft. Place in a sealed envelope and mail to Canada Visa Application Centre, Mezzanine Floor Eco Plaza Bldg. Chino Roces Avenue Ext Pasong Tamo Ext Makati city. Or you may choose to deliver your documents via other courier service, Please ensure all required documents and fees are included in the packets. Incomplete documents and fees will be returned at your own expense.

Please Note: We will only return passports through 2Go, self-addressed airway bills from other courier companies will be returned back unused
Step 6: For return of Passport you have the choice of;
1. Pick up passport at the Visa Application Center (VAC)
2. Avail our courier service and get your passport delivered in your preferred address, Please ensure to clearly indicate the delivery address in your application package. Corresponding fee as per instruction in Canada Visa Information - Philippines - Services and Service Charge Schedule will be levied.

Visa Fee Payment Instructions:
  Fees must be paid by bank draft, certified cheque, postal money order (PMO) or manager’s cheque. Cash payment is not accepted.
  Print your name on the back of the bank draft or certified cheque.
  Fees can only be paid in Canadian Dollar and Philippine Peso currencies although it is advisable to pay in Canadian Dollars to avoid currency fluctuation.
  If you are paying in Canadian dollars, the bank draft or certified cheque should be addressed to the: Receiver General for Canada.
  If you are paying in Philippine Pesos, the bank draft or certified cheque should be made payable to the: Embassy of Canada, Manila.
  Cheques can be issued by any local or international banks or post offices. Bank cheques are valid for 6 months from the date they were issued, while PMOs are valid for only 3 months.
  If bank drafts are issued from a bank in Canada in Canadian dollars, the "drawee" (also known as the clearance or correspondent bank) must be left blank.

Payment Instruction for VFS Service Charges:
  VFS service charges to be paid via Demand Draft or Managers Cheque only and the same should be in Philippine Peso (Php only)
  Demand draft must be addressed to “VFS Services Phils. Pvt. Inc.”.
  Its mandatory to have a demand draft with ‘’ MICR Code’’
  Demand Draft and Managers Cheque should only be taken from the Banks and not any other exchange companies.
  We do not accept personal or company cheques.
  Bank drafts must be valid for at least six (6) months from the date of issuance.
  Pay the exact service charge fee for your application

Please note, if your application is received without the correct bank drafts for both visa fees and VFS service fees, we will not be able to process your application and the same will be returned to you at your own expense.

 
 
If you have received notification from the Government of Canada requesting your passport, your passport(s) along with the copy of passport request letter may be submitted through Visa Application Centre of your choice.

How to submit your passport:

Once you receive notification from the Government of Canada requesting your passport, you can submit the passport (s) and your passport request letter:

1. In person/ through an authorized representative at the CVAC

Or,
2. By courier/mail to the VAC address mentioned on the ‘Contact Us’ page.

For Return of your Passport (s), you have the choice of;

1. Picking up the passport from the VAC or;
2. Requesting return of passport by courier or;
3. Sending a prepaid self-addressed courier return envelope along with your passport and request letter

Please note that there will be a Service Charge for the above services. Courier charges where applicable are separate from the Service Charge applicable for Passport Transmission Services. The details can be obtained here.

The Passport Transmission Services offered by the VACs will enable you to;

1. Get your passport delivered to the CVO in a timely and safe manner.
2. You will be able to track the status of your passport by using the Tracking tool on the CVAC website
